J. N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge
J. N. Ding Darling NWR is monitoring the biological phenomena of plant flowering and bird migration. Volunteers and staff are tracking a number of native plants and animals species designated by the biological team.
Plant species observed include: red mangroves, sea grapes, gumbo limbo, coontie, cordgrass, wax myrtle, and bird species include: Osprey, Bald Eagle, Red knot, Black-bellied Plover, Blue-winged Teal, Roseate Spoonbill
